Position:     Social Data Analyst 

Type:         Project-based Contract

Time:         4 weeks passive database maintenance 
                1 week or more active analysis

Location:    Remote

Description and Objective: 

The analyst will support Tingen Industries in the deployment and initial analysis of a small scale (~2,000 person) confidential survey.

​

Responsibilities & Deliverables: 

 

• Provide maintenance of database throughout deployment of survey

• Provide biweekly reports on participant data, descriptive statistics, and other notable factors of database

• Work with Tingen Industries to deploy initial analytical plan 

• Present findings and summary to Tingen Industries, including code and other analytic / methodological notes

Highly Qualified Candidates Have: 

​

• A social science background (M.A. / M.S., or more) in human-derived data 

• A clear dedication to professionalism and discretion 

• An active sense of data-informed curiosity without preconditions

• A love of applying social science, not just theorizing about it

​

All Candidates Should Have: 

​

• A combined 3+ years human research and analytics experience

• Commitment to high quality work, no matter the findings 

• An ability to communicate challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner
